So yesterday you saw that my white and orangey kitty, Schroeder, has decided my bed is pretty nice. Some of you were worried that I might not be very happy about this. It is very nice of you to worry, but I don’t mind to share with my kitties 🙂 Actually, I kind of think maybe it is a compliment that Schroeder likes my bed. After all, it smells like me!

And so guess what happened next! (Sorry these pictures are terrible; mom had to resort to the phone…)
Linus likes my bed now too!
I was kind of nervous to try to share my bed with Linus. I thought maybe he will not like it and he will puff out and make scary noises and chase and hit me again. But mom said, “It’s okay, Remy. Go camping.” (That means go in my bed.) So I did it. And here is what happened:
Is Linus angry yet? I am afraid to look!
Linus did not puff out! He did not make scary noises! He did not even chase or hit me! He also did not get out of the way, but I am okay about that. He really wanted to stay put! Finally mom had to take him out so she could tuck me in.
So maybe my kitties are even starting to like me…maybe the tiniest bit? I hope so!

WooHoo!!! Welcome to the Kitty Friend Club!! 😀 I’ve always loved all my brothers (well Ginger, I just like) and the outdoor kitties, but they are the ones that took a loooooooong time to like me (and some still don’t!)!!

We like you so I’m sure in time your kitties will like you too and I think you were very brave (and obedient) to go into your bed when you weren’t sure if Linus would be nice.
Luckily Linus has been nice enough to keep his claws to himself, but kitties can still hit pretty hard! They are stronger than they look!

Thanks, Mollie! I really like my bed too, way more than my wiry crate downstairs. But now that mom is home so much, I hardly ever have to go in there. Except for eating frozen Kongs and sometimes it is a nice place for a nap 🙂
Hi Remy! We’ve been reading your blog for awhile now and decided it was time to say hello. After all, you’re making friends with kitties, so how about two more? Our names are Hitch and Mistletoe and we live with our huMom and our MomMom plus we have a boy/man. Also there are the ginger twins, Pumpkin & Tiger and our woofie, Lizzie. We get along with Lizzie very well although I think Tiger is her favorite. She gives him snuffles on his neck and he really likes that. Anyway, don’t worry, sometimes we kitties can be a little scary but we normally get over it and accept our new family member. So we really enjoy your blog and hope you don’t mind if we stop by again? We don’t have our own blog * pointed glance a huMom* but enjoy reading our furfriends blogs and commenting when we can. You’re a very good doggie, Mr. Remy, we hope to see you again.

Remy I can see why your kitties like your bed – it looks VERY comfy and cozy and if I lived there with you I’d be in there too!!! I’m glad you are willing to share……not every pup would be that generous…..I hope the kitties know how LUCKY they are to have you (and your bed!!!!!).

I have a bed like that but I refuse to sleep in it BOL, instead that’s where my toys live!
I think kitties have different taste than pups. Plus, for a while a lot of pups even did not like me. That was when I was still a puppy and kind of wild, but I am improving with age 🙂

Us cats LOVES our doggies. Me really likes my hairy slobbery sisters, though me does not sleeps with them. Me is so small, me is afraid they will roll on me when me is sleeping.
